Resident Artist Program
The Resident Artists Program maintains a flexible format allowing emerging artists to create a residency structure according to their particular needs.
Whether they are developing a new work, need an informal performance space, or simply need time to explore, RAP is designed to support self direction while affording dance artists from all disciplines the opportunity to develop their craft freely.
Residency Options:
Emerging artists will be considered for one residency per calendar year. Duration of residency is based on both need and studio availability to a maximum of 3 weeks. Special consideration will be given to artists who can demonstrate need and have a proven track record of involvement and support within the Calgary dance community. All applications will be reviewed by a panel of peers constructed by Artistic Director, Tara Blue.
