The Blue Collar Dance Company is once again returning to its’ dance roots with a high energy dance form that has a 30+ year history even as it influences our current and future culture. For Blue Collar Dance, whose mandate is to present intelligent, accessible dance theatre, Hip Hop, Breakdance, and the next generation of street dancing represent a vital, powerful, and constantly evolving cultural expression.
 
Calgary has a dynamic and rapidly expanding Hip-Hop and break dancing community; however the nature of these dance forms as largely spontaneous improvisational street performance, results in very limited opportunities for the general public to attend performances. Blue Collar Dance is very proud to present some of the most exciting dancers in Slammenberry Jam 3 featuring performances by 4EVERFRESH, ORIGINAL RUDES, MALFUNKTION and EXZAM.
 
In keeping with Blue Collar Dances’ mandate of accessible, intelligent performance, SLAMMENBERRY JAM 3 – BONNIE & CLYDE HIP - HOP DANCE FESTIVAL is suitable for all ages. Calgarians curious about Hip Hop and Breakdance, but are leery of questionable subject matter and language, this is the show to see.
